What do we know about the people living in Stillfried during the Middle-Ages?

The documents give little information about medieval life in rural areas, yet archaeological finds give us additional information as do medieval painting reflection the fashion and the tools and household items of past centuries.

The exhibition informs about medievel Stillfried. Highlight is a glass cup which had been brought from Syria to Lower Austria as a souvenir from the 7th crusade.  Additionally a film shows how a "Kuttrolf", a medieval glass vessel with a twisted neck, is made.
